Description
If someone you love is diagnosed with cancer you want them to get the best treatment from the best doctors. In 2013, patients in Michigan thought Farid Fata was that doctor. Between his prestigious education, years of experience and pleasant bedside manner, Fata was everything you could want in a doctor. But he was not who he appeared to be. From Wondery, this is the story of hundreds of patients in Michigan, a doctor, and a poisonous secret.
Laura Beil, returns with a second season of the award-winning series “Dr Death.”

I just got Amazon Music, but it says I need to upgrade to Amazon Music *Unlimited* to listen. Boo
I just don't understand why season one and three are on here but not season two. Makes no sense.
awww im so disappointed it's not available here 😔
If a diagnosis so severe as cancer is given to you, always get a second opinion, just to be sure...especially if you feel healthy.
Ohhh, now I remember why there'sno Wondery shows in my library... I'm wracking my brain here looking for old epsides.. lol, Iguess, do what you gotta do, Wondery.. great production and all, but not good enough to jump platforms. 👎
Boo ☹️
first off, diludid is 6x stronger than morphine, and can cause respiratory depression. did the daughter/staff not notice that she was barely breathing? idk what kind of ER they are running but all of that part of the story sounded completely wrong.
what I've learned from these podcast is always, ALWAYS get a second and probably third opinion
love Angela!
I watched whisleblower on CBS all access and this case was on there.
so, people are shocked that the healthcare industry is full of corruption, puts profits above peoples health and safety, and is full of immoral and unethical behavior. I would hate to see what you think when you see what happens in other institutions.
I'm starting to get the sense that this story could be told in 1 hour long episode rather than 5 drawn out episodes to milk the ad money. 2 episodes in and I'm pretty sure I get it: Doctor is bad at doctoring.
Don’t think anyone cares about his wage only that he was getting paid to KILLL
6 figures as a clinical manager is NOT a crazy amount. That's pretty much starting pay at any hosptial and any clinic just for the record lol
Shoutout to everyone else who also just got here after hearing "October 27th" in the S2 teaser on the original podcast feed and becoming VERY confused.
Anyone else disappointed that they didn't just carry on the story they had started?
Girl you have got to take off your jewelry before you record.
Spotlight oral care for the UK listeners? cheeky!!
And I agree with the host... I don't think Jerry could have stopped Chris. I understand why he feels regret, but he didn't have all the facts at the time and more importantly he didn't have the authority to intervene. Chris Duntsch had powerful people in the medical field looking the other way and even backing him up. They're the ones who should feel guilty.
Chris Duntsch doesn't deserve a friend like Jerry, but I admire Jerry and his huge heart nonetheless. It takes a lot of strength of character to be able to hold a nuanced opinion in such an extreme situation.
